WORLD DESIGN ASSEMBLY
Presented my research paper titled - Design Education in India: The Role of International Collaborations for a globally aspiring mindset at the 31st World Design Assembly organized by the World Design Organization in Hyderabad, India in October 2019. As part of the inaugural WDO Research and Education Forum, I presented my paper under the theme of ‘Future of Design Education in Emerging Economies’ at the Indian School of Business in tandem with the Hyderabad Design Week.
I was honored to be one of the fifteen presenters who was selected amongst more than 120 submissions.
The paper highlighted how international collaborations like the PDP program could help improve design education in developing countries like India.
It was an absolutely exhilarating experience for me to participate in the events alongside WDO members, industry professionals, educators and students from across the globe, to discuss the future of design education, human approach to digital media and the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in design curriculums.
